Softball Recap: Syracuse Titans vs. Weber Warriors        
        
		
            
 Syracuse has not done well against Weber recently (they were 2-7 in their previous nine matchups), but they didn't let the past get in their way  on Friday. The Syracuse Titans came out on top against the Weber Warriors by a score of  9-6. The  victory made it back-to-back  wins for Syracuse.
  Jazmine Prathan was  incredible,  scoring two  runs while  getting on base  in three of her seven plate appearances. The team also got some help courtesy of  Grace Thomas, who  scored a  run and  stole a base while going 2-for-4.
 On Weber's side,  Ellie Nielsen was cooking despite her team's loss,   going 2-for-4 with a  home run and two  RBI.  Logyn Howell was another key contributor,  scoring two  runs while going 2-for-3.
 Even though they lost, Weber was hitting in the alleys and  finished the game with four  doubles. They easily outclassed their opponents in that department as Syracuse only hit  no.
 Syracuse's win bumped their record up to 7-4. As for Weber, they now  have a losing record at 6-7.
 Both  squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Syracuse will stay at home for another  game and welcome Farmington at 3:30  p.m.  on Tuesday. Syracuse is strutting in with some hitting muscle, as they've averaged 8.3  runs per game  this season. As for Weber, they will be playing in front of their home fans against Fremont at 3:30  p.m.  on Tuesday. The last three games Fremont has played have been within two runs, so don't be surprised if it's a close one.
