Basketball Game Preview: Sheridan Broncs vs. Campbell County Camels

Sheridan is on a six-game streak of home wins, while Campbell County is on a three-game streak of away wins: one of those streaks is about to end. The Sheridan Broncs will welcome the Campbell County Camels at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Keep an eye on the score for this one: the two teams posted some lofty point totals in their previous games.

Sheridan is coming in fresh off a high-stakes matchup with another one of Wyoming's top teams: Laramie, who was ranked fifth at the time (Sheridan was ranked second). Sheridan walked away with a 75-67 win over Laramie on Saturday.

Meanwhile, winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Campbell County). They took their contest on Saturday with ease, bagging a 92-55 victory over South. With the Camels ahead 45-19 at the half, the match was all but over already.

Sheridan better keep an eye on Lane Hladky. He was instrumental in Campbell County's win, going 7-for-13 to rack up 19 points in addition to seven steals and six assists. Hladky's afternoon made it six games in a row in which he has scored at least 15 points. Another player making a difference was Truman Degrange, who went 5-for-10 on his way to 15 points.

Campbell County was working as a unit and finished the game with 25 assists. That's the most assists they've managed all season.

Campbell County is on a roll lately: they've won ten of their last 11 games, which provided a massive bump to their 11-7 record this season. Those victories came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 74.9 points over those games. As for Sheridan, their win bumped their record up to 16-2.
