If Orange Glen wanted to avenge their loss from the last time they played Calvin Christian, they should've done a better job of containing Caleb Lapka. The Crusaders strolled past the Patriots with points to spare on Wednesday, taking the game 50-34 with plenty of help from Lapka, who dropped a double-double with 22 points and 14 rebounds. Thanks to that strong game, he now owns an excellent 50% field goal percentage.

Another player making a difference was Micah Briones, who shot 70% from the field to rack up 15 points. He is also on a roll when it comes to steals, as he's now grabbed two or more in each of the last three games he's played.

The win made it two in a row for Calvin Christian and bumps their season record up to 2-2. The victories came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 59.0 points over those games. As for Orange Glen, their defeat dropped their record down to 0-6.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Calvin Christian will look to takes advantage of their home court for the first time this season as they takes on Mission Vista at 5:00 p.m. on Friday. As for Orange Glen, they will welcome Escondido Charter at 2:00 p.m. on Saturday.
