Volleyball Recap: Rampart Wins High-Profile Game Against Mesa Ridge

On Thursday, Rampart faced Mesa Ridge in a battle between two of the state's top teams. The Rampart Rams put the hurt on the Mesa Ridge Grizzlies with a sharp 3-0 victory.

The final score came out to 25-16, 25-21, 25-17.

Brady Simonis paced Rampart's offense, picking up 12 kills. Simonis got some help from Dylan Paurus and his 36 assists. Simonis was also solid from the service line: he led the team with three aces.

Rampart now has a winning record of 2-1. As for Mesa Ridge, they are on a four-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 0-4.

Rampart wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next matchup, a 2-0 defeat against Legacy on the 8th. As for Mesa Ridge, they also didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next contest, a 3-0 loss against Lutheran on the 8th.
