Baseball Recap: Irondale Comes Up Short

Irondale was not able to break out of their rough patch on Monday as the team picked up their fourth straight loss. They were a single run away from ending the streak, but they lost an 8-7 heartbreaker at the hands of the East Ridge Raptors. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Raptors this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 8-4 back in April.

Irondale's defeat dropped their record down to 3-14. As for East Ridge, the victory was the third in a row for them, bringing their record up to 9-9.

Irondale wasted no time getting back out on the field and has already played their next contest, a 6-3 win against Roseville on the 14th. As for East Ridge, they have also already played their next game, a 9-5 loss against Mounds View on the 14th.
