Softball Recap: Penncrest Lions vs. Interboro Buccaneers

Penncrest was the 6-2 winner over Interboro when they last played one another back in March of 2023, but their luck changed this time around. The Penncrest Lions' rough 13-3 loss to the Interboro Buccaneers on Tuesday might stick with them for a while. Penncrest has now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

For Interboro's part, Julia Bergen made a splash while hitting and pitching. On the mound, she didn't allow a single earned run over five innings pitched. Bergen has been consistent recently: she hasn't given up more than two walks in three consecutive pitching appearances. In other batting news, Interboro let Ava Rudolph and Summer Burrell loose on the outfield.
