Preview: Holly vs. Balko
Holly are packing up and hiking across state lines for their game on Friday. They will challenge Balko on the road at 7:00 PM. It might come down to the wire as the MaxPreps national rankings project a close contest.
It was close but no cigar for Holly as they fell 6-8 to Akron last Friday. Holly got a solid performance out of senior Kobe Davis, who passed for 271 yards and 1 touchdown; unfortunately, it just wasn't enough for the victory.
Meanwhile, Balko had to kick off their season with an away game, and unfortunately wound up with a long bus ride home. They were completely outmatched, falling 0-50 to Turpin.
The losses dropped Holly to 1-1 and Balko 0-1. Neither of those teams managed to put together many points in their previous matchup, so their meeting could be a low-scoring affair.
