Basketball Recap: Union City Comes Up Short

Union City was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their third straight loss. They fell 55-44 to the Youngsville Eagles. The Bears were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as the Eagles apparently hadn't forgotten their defeat the last time these teams played back in February of 2024.

Union City now has a losing record at 5-6. As for Youngsville, the victory made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 5-1.

Union City will face off against Cambridge Springs at 3:15 p.m. on Saturday. Youngsville has already played their next matchup (against Mercyhurst Prep), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing.
