David Bailey posted a new career-high in runs on Monday. He went a perfect 4-for-4 with five runs, four RBI, and one triple. He has become a key player for Washburn: the team is 3-1 when he posts at least two runs, but 4-5-1 otherwise.

Bailey's strong effort led Washburn over Cosby and he'll get a chance to do so again: the teams have a rematch scheduled at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday. The Pirates are 9-1 against the Eagles going back to April of 2019, a lead they'll look to extend.
