Wonderful College Prep Academy will bounce into Tuesday's match after beating Orange Cove, who they had gone 2-7 against in their nine prior meetings. The Wolves put the hurt on the Titans with a sharp 3-0 win on Wednesday.
One reason for the win was Wonderful College Prep Academy's just kept getting better, winning each set by more points than the last. The final score came out to 25-17, 25-10, 25-6.

Wonderful College Prep Academy had a senior duo take command as Daniela Macias had 12 kills, five digs, and five aces and Selena Rico had five kills, four aces, three digs, and three blocks. Macias has been hot for a while, having posted five or more kills the last 23 times she's played. Another player making a difference was Nayima Reuchon, who had six aces, three digs, and one block.
Wonderful College Prep Academy was lethal from the service line and finished the match with 22 aces. That's the most aces they've posted since back in October of 2024.
Meanwhile, Farmersville came up short against Tulare Western on Thursday and fell 2-0. The Aztecs have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back matches.
The match finished with set scores of 25-11, 25-17.
Farmersville's loss dropped their record down to 10-13-2. As for Wonderful College Prep Academy, their victory bumped their record up to 19-8-2.
Everything went Wonderful College Prep Academy's way against Farmersville in their previous meeting back in October of 2024, as Wonderful College Prep Academy made off with a 3-0 win.
