Football Recap: West Bend East Comes Up Short

West Bend East was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their tenth straight defeat dating back to last season. They took a 21-7 bruising from the Sheboygan North Golden Raiders. The Suns lost against the Golden Raiders in their previous head to head back in August of 2024, too, but the margin this time around was much closer than the 48-0 score last time.

West Bend East's loss dropped their record down to 0-2. As for Sheboygan North, they have started the season off flawlessly and has a 2-0 record to show for it.

West Bend East and Sheboygan North will both get their first taste of in-conference action in their upcoming games. The Suns are set to face off against their familiar foe Whitefish Bay at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Meanwhile, Sheboygan North will square off against rival Notre Dame Academy at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.
