Preview: Fredonia Lynx vs. Wayne Badgers
The Fredonia Lynx will be playing at home against the Wayne Badgers at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Wayne took a loss in their last contest and will be looking to turn the tables on Fredonia, who comes in off a win.
Fredonia took care of business in their home opener on Tuesday (and then some). They breezed by Music Mountain at home to the tune of 59-17.
Meanwhile, Wayne took a serious blow against Kanab on Tuesday, falling 73-32. The loss unfortunately continues a disappointing trend for Wayne in their matchups with Kanab: they've now lost four in a row.
Despite their loss, Wayne saw several players rise to the challenge and make noteworthy plays. AJ Vandyke, who scored 12 points, was perhaps the best of all. The contest was Vandyke's third in a row with at least ten points. The team also got some help courtesy of Timber Wood, who scored 4 points along with 5 rebounds and 5 steals.
Fredonia's win bumped their record up to 1-0. As for Wayne, their defeat dropped their record down to 2-1.
