Volleyball Game Preview: Paul Laurence Dunbar Bulldogs vs. Bryan Station Defenders

The Paul Laurence Dunbar Bulldogs will venture away from home to face off against the Bryan Station Defenders at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Considering both teams were shutout in their prior games, the pair is probably coming into this one with something to prove.

Paul Laurence Dunbar is coming in fresh off a high-stakes matchup with another one of Kentucky's top teams: Western Hills, who was ranked ninth at the time (Paul Laurence Dunbar was ranked 12th). The Bulldogs lost 3-0 to the Wolverines on Thursday. The Bulldogs have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

While Paul Laurence Dunbar ultimately came up short, they really made Western Hills work, particularly in the third set. The match finished with set scores of 25-23, 25-15, 26-24.

Meanwhile, Bryan Station was not able to break out of their rough patch on Thursday as the team picked up their 13th straight loss dating back to last season. They came up short against Tates Creek, falling 3-0.

Bryan Station's defeat dropped their record down to 0-11. As for Paul Laurence Dunbar, they now have a losing record of 6-7.
