Softball Recap: Schalick Cougars vs. Penns Grove Red Devils        
        
		
            
 Schalick can now show off six landslide victories after their most recent  match  on Wednesday. They never let the Penns Grove Red Devils onto the board and left with  an   18-0  win. The  victory made it back-to-back  wins for Schalick.
  Abigail Willoughby was a major factor no matter where she played. She looked comfortable on the mound,   pitching  an inning while giving up   no  earned runs or  hits. Willoughby was also solid in the batter's box,  scoring two  runs and  stealing a base while going 1-for-2.
 In other batting news,  Taylor Sparks was  incredible,  going 4-for-4 with seven  RBI, two  runs,  and a  triple.  Alexa Shimp was another key contributor,  getting on base  in all four of her plate appearances with two  runs, a  triple,  and  an  RBI.
 Schalick is  on a roll lately: they've  won four of their last five matchups,  which provided a nice bump to their 7-5 record  this season. As for Penns Grove, they  haven't won a game yet this season and fell to 0-8.
 Both  teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Schalick will take on Woodstown at 6:30  p.m.  on Thursday. As for Penns Grove, they will be playing at home against Glassboro at 4:00  p.m.  on Thursday. Glassboro is coming into the  contest with four straight  losses on the road,  meaning Penns Grove will have to defend against a  squad hungry for a  victory.
