Soccer Game Preview: Bryan vs. Delta

Bryan and Delta are an even 4-4 against one another since September of 2016, but likely not for long. The Golden Bears will welcome the Panthers at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Bryan's last three contests have been decided by no more than a goal, so don't be surprised if it's a close one.

Bryan is probably headed into the match with a chip on their shoulder considering Napoleon just ended the team's nine-match winning streak on Saturday. They fell just short of the Wildcats by a score of 1-0. The matchup was a 0-0 toss-up at halftime, but Bryan couldn't quite close it out.

Meanwhile, Delta waltzed into their contest on Thursday with two straight wins... but they left with three. Their defense stepped up to hand the Vikings a 1-0 shutout. The score was all tied up 0-0 at the break, but Delta were the better team in the second half.

Bryan's defeat dropped their record down to 9-3-1. As for Delta, their win bumped their record up to 7-8.

Bryan skirted past Delta 1-0 in their previous matchup back in October of 2024. Will the Golden Bears repeat their success, or do the Panthers have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
