Baseball Recap: Depew Wildcats vs. Fredonia Hillbillies
Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Depew). Everything went their way against the Fredonia Hillbillies on Monday as they made off with a 16-5 win. Considering the Wildcats have won three matches by more than six runs this season, Monday's blowout was nothing new.
Lucas Spruch made a big impact while hitting and pitching. He tossed one inning while giving up no earned runs or hits. Spruch was even better at the plate, getting on base in all four of his plate appearances with three runs, one stolen base, and two RBI.
