Dalton put another one in the bag on Saturday to keep their perfect season alive. Everything went their way against the Triway Titans as the Dalton Bulldogs made off with a 3-0 victory. For the Bulldogs, this counts as revenge for the 3-2 defeat the Titans walked away with the last time they faced one another back in October of 2023.
While Dalton won a shutout, things came down to the wire in the third set they played. The match finished with set scores of 25-19, 25-19, 25-23.
Leading Dalton to victory were Sophia Surmay and Chloe Ruehling. Surmay had 17 digs, a kill, and 33 assists, while Ruehling had seven digs and three aces. Surmay is on a roll when it comes to assists, as she's now posted 14 or more in the last 47 games she's played dating back to last season.
Despite the loss, Triway still got an impressive performance from Reagan Underwood, who had 21 digs.
Dalton pushed their record up to 22-0 with the win, which was their 11th straight on the road. As for Triway, the loss snapped their winning streak at three games and leaves them with a 14-8 record.
