Steele fought the good fight in their extra-innings contest against Archbishop Hoban on Saturday but wound up with a less-than-desirable result. They fell just short of the Knights by a score of 3-1. The Comets' loss signaled the end of their five-game winning streak.

Steele's defeat dropped their record down to 17-2. As for Archbishop Hoban, they pushed their record up to 14-5 with the win, which was their fourth straight on the road.

Steele does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Archbishop Hoban, they will challenge Medina at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday. The two teams have allowed few runs on average (the Knights 2.9, the Battling Bees 2.8) so any runs scored will be well earned.
