Basketball Recap: Hazlehurst Comes Up Short

Hazlehurst lost to Crystal Springs on January 9th and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Wednesday. The Indians came up short against the Tigers, falling 56-34.

Hazlehurst has also traveled a rocky road recently, having lost seven of their last nine contests. That's put a noticeable dent in their 7-15 record this season. As for Crystal Springs, the win (which was their third in a row) raised their record to 11-12.

We've got plenty of inter-district action coming up soon. Hazlehurst will square off against rival Franklin County at 5:00 p.m. on Friday. Meanwhile, Crystal Springs is set to challenge their familiar foe Jefferson County at 6:00 p.m. on Friday.
