Soccer Recap: Richardson Takes a Loss

Richardson was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their seventh straight defeat. They fell 2-0 to the Lake Highlands Wildcats. While losing is never fun, the Eagles can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Texas soccer rankings (they are ranked 611th, while the Wildcats are ranked 68th).

Richardson's loss dropped their record down to 1-12-1. As for Lake Highlands, they have been performing well recently as they've won four of their last five games, which provided a nice bump to their 8-2-4 record this season.

Coming up, Richardson will welcome MacArthur at 7:15 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Lake Highlands, a feisty cat fight will be fought when the Lake Highlands duke it out with the Irving at 7:15 p.m. on Tuesday.
