Baseball Preview: Oakwood Comets vs. St. Thomas More Sabers
Oakwood is a perfect 4-0 against St. Thomas More since April of 2017 and they'll have a chance to extend that dominance on Friday. The Comets will take on the Sabers at 4:30 p.m. Oakwood will aim to continue their four-game streak of scoring more runs each contest than the last.
On Thursday, Oakwood made easy work of Heritage and carried off a 16-6 victory. The win continues a trend for the Comets in their matchups with the Hawks: they've now won three in a row.
Alex Wallace looked comfortable as he tossed 1.1 innings while giving up no earned runs or hits. What's more, he posted three strikeouts, the most he's had since back in April of 2024.

On the hitting side, Chase Harrison was a standout: he went 2-for-4 with three runs, four RBI, and one triple. Oakwood is undefeated when Harrison posts two or more runs, but 2-6 otherwise.
