Meanwhile, it's never fun to lose, and it's even less fun to lose 59-14, which was the final score in Britton Deerfield's tilt against Whiteford on Friday. While losing is never fun, the Patriots can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Michigan basketball rankings (they are ranked 585th, while the Bobcats are ranked 187th).

Everything came up roses for Morenci against Britton Deerfield when the teams last played back in January, as the squad secured a 54-11 victory. The rematch might be a little tougher for Morenci since the team won't have the home-court advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
