Basketball Recap: Cushing Takes a Loss

Cushing was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their 13th straight defeat dating back to last season. They took a 60-43 bruising from the Cleveland Tigers. The result was an unpleasant reminder to Cushing of the 62-44 loss they experienced in the pair's previous head-to-head fixture back in January.

Cushing's defeat dropped their record down to 0-3. As for Cleveland, their victory ended an eight-game drought on the road dating back to last season and puts them at 2-2.

Cushing will head out to challenge Dale at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday. Dale knows how to get points on the board -- the squad has finished with 55 points or more in their past five contests -- so hopefully Cushing likes a good challenge. As for Cleveland, they will look to defend their home court on Friday against Sperry at 6:00 p.m.
