Soccer Recap: Clearfield Takes a Loss

Clearfield was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their fifth straight defeat. They were a single goal away from ending the streak, but they lost a 2-1 heartbreaker at the hands of the Woods Cross Wildcats. That's two games in a row now that Clearfield have lost by just one goal.

Their goal came courtesy of Carden Porter, who's now up to five this season.

Clearfield's record now sits at 2-7. As for Woods Cross, with the win, they broke their three-game losing streak and moved their record to 3-6.

Clearfield has already played their next match, a 1-1 loss against Northridge on the 17th. As for Woods Cross, they also didn't take long to hit the pitch again: they've already played their next contest, a 4-2 victory against Box Elder on the 17th.
