Volleyball Game Preview: Kentwood Conquerors vs. Mt. Rainier Rams + How To Watch

Kentwood is 2-8 against Mt. Rainier since October of 2017 but they'll have a chance to close the gap a little bit on Wednesday. The Conquerors will venture away from home to take on the Rams at 7:15 p.m. Both come into the contest bolstered by wins in their previous matches.

Kentwood had to skate by with only a one-set margin when they last took the court, which might have inspired the three-set drubbing they dealt Stadium on Monday. The Conquerors put the hurt on the Tigers with a sharp 3-0 victory. That three set margin sets a new team best for the Conquerors this season.

Meanwhile, Mt. Rainier earned a 3-1 win over Auburn Riverside on Monday. The victory continues a trend for the Rams in their matchups with the Ravens: they've now won three in a row.

Kentwood's record now sits at 3-4. As for Mt. Rainier, the win got them back to even at 4-4.

Kentwood couldn't quite get it done against Mt. Rainier when the teams last played back in October of 2024 as they fell 3-1. Can the Conquerors avenge their defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
