Sadly, Gabby McEnerney posting her best game of the season wasn't enough to lead Springstead over Crystal River on Tuesday. McEnerney was dynamite, striking out nine batters over seven innings while giving up three earned runs off six hits.
McEnerney and Springstead will head out on the road to face off against Nature Coast Tech at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday. McEnerney has dominated as far as hits are concerned (she's averaged 0.4 per game this season), but she's got her work cut out for her considering Nature Coast Tech has only allowed 6.1 per game this season.
