Alta is a perfect 3-0 against Highland since March of 2024 and they'll have a chance to extend that dominance on Tuesday. The Hawks will look to defend their home court against the Rams at 6:30 p.m. Alta will be strutting in after a win while Highland will be coming in after a defeat.
Alta barely beat Brighton the last time the pair played, but that sure wasn't the case this time around. The Hawks blew past the Bengals 3-0 last Thursday. The Hawks haven't had any issues with the Bengals recently, as the game was their fourth consecutive victory against them.
Alta walked away with the win (and looked especially good in the second set). The match finished with set scores of 28-26, 25-15, 25-22.

Alta can attribute much of their success to Mayson Meirinho, who had four digs and two aces, and Corbin Batista, who had 19 kills, seven digs, and one block. Those four digs gave Meirinho a new career-high.
They weren't the only good server: Alta was lethal from the service line and finished the game with 13 aces. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now served at least five aces in 12 consecutive contests.
Meanwhile, Highland was not able to break out of their rough patch on Thursday as the team picked up their fourth straight loss. They lost 3-0 to West.
Highland was the model of consistency in the loss, scoring 21 points in every single set they played. The final score came out to 25-21, 25-21, 25-21.
Highland's defeat dropped their record down to 1-7. As for Alta, they pushed their record up to 9-6 with the victory, which was their sixth straight on the road dating back to last season.
Everything went Alta's way against Highland in their previous matchup back in March, as Alta made off with a 3-0 win. Do the Hawks have another victory up their sleeve, or will the Rams turn the tables on them? We'll have the answer soon enough.
