Soccer Game Preview: Middle Park vs. Front Range Christian

The Middle Park Panthers will take on the Front Range Christian Falcons at 3:00 p.m. on Saturday.

Middle Park is headed into Saturday's matchup following a draw, the team's first since September 26. They and Vail Mountain finished up on equal footing with a 2-2 draw last Tuesday. The game got a bit rough at times, as the refs handed out a total of three yellow cards before it was all over: Middle Park's Grahm Kauffman and Connor Burns and Vail Mountain's Colm Kinney were all carded.

Adrian Penaloza and Ivan Galaviz scored both of Middle Park's goals, bringing their combined season tally to nine goals.

Meanwhile, after a string of nine wins, Front Range Christian's good fortune finally ran out on Saturday. They came up short against Denver Christian, falling 7-4. Things were pretty much settled by the half as Front Range Christian were already down 5-1.

Middle Park's draw makes their record 6-7-2 this season. As for Front Range Christian, their loss dropped their record down to 11-3-1.
