Corydon Central has gone 7-1 against Charlestown recently and they'll look to pad the win column further on Tuesday. The Panthers will square off against the Pirates at 5:30 p.m. Neither squad made it on the board the last time they hit the pitch, so they've probably got a bit of extra motivation.

While the 1-1 score might suggest a draw, it was Silver Creek who was credited with the victory on Tuesday. The Dragons got it done in the shootout by posting four goals to Corydon Central's one. Corydon Central have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back matches.

Thursday just wasn't the day for Charlestown's offense. They came up short against Silver Creek on Thursday, falling 5-0.

Corydon Central's loss was their first in the conference, dropping their conference record down to 5-1 and their overall record down to 6-6-1. As for Charlestown, their defeat dropped their record down to 5-9.

Corydon Central beat Charlestown 3-1 in their previous meeting back in September. The rematch might be a little tougher for the Panthers since the team won't have the home-pitch advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
