Basketball Recap: College Park Now 6-1 over Last Seven Games

While College Park's win against Conroe wasn't quite the blowout they won the last time the pair played, they still came out on top. The College Park Cavaliers skirted past the Conroe Tigers 56-53. That's the second time they've managed to beat them this season, as they also won 68-39 back in November of 2024.

College Park had a senior duo take command as Aiden Buckmon posted 22 points and three steals and Jacob Oman went 5 of 6 en route to 15 points in addition to eight rebounds and six blocks. Buckmon has been hot, having posted two or more steals the last five times he's played. Tyson Forrest was another key player, putting up six points and four steals.

College Park has been performing incredibly well recently as they've won six of their last seven games, which provided a nice bump to their 19-8 record this season. As for Conroe, with the loss, they broke their three-game winning streak and moved their record to 10-15.

College Park will take on Oak Ridge at 1:00 p.m. on Saturday. College Park is strutting in with some offensive muscle as they've averaged 70.7 points per game this season. As for Conroe, they will be playing in front of their home fans against New Caney at 1:00 p.m. on Saturday. Conroe is facing New Caney at the right time seeing as New Caney is stuck on a three-game losing streak.
