Brookfield Central came tearing into Tuesday's contest with eight straight wins (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 15 points) and they left with even more momentum. They came out on top against the Marquette University Hilltoppers by a score of 61-51. That's the second time they've managed to beat them this season, as they also won 58-57 back in December of 2024.

Brookfield Central's win was their fifth straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 13-5. Those victories came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 74.6 points per game. As for Marquette University, their defeat dropped their record down to 5-10.

Coincidentally, Brookfield Central and Marquette University will both be playing Hamilton the next time they take the court. Marquette University will host Hamilton at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday, while Brookfield Central will host them at 7:00 p.m. on February 4th.
