Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask New Castle). They simply couldn't be stopped on Friday as they easily beat the Ambridge Bridgers 56-7. The result was nothing new for the Hurricanes, who have now won five matchups by 20 points or more so far this season.

New Castle pushed their record up to 7-2 with the win, which was their third straight on the road. The road victories came thanks in part to their defensive effort, having only surrendered 2.3 points on average over those games. As for Ambridge, they are on a four-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 1-8.

Looking ahead, New Castle will take on Blackhawk at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. The Hurricanes will be up against the Cougars' rather soft defense (which has allowed 29.67 points per contest), so fans could be in store for a big offensive performance.
