Baseball Recap: White Station Has No Trouble Against Whitehaven

While White Station put up plenty of runs on Monday, the same can't be said for Whitehaven. The Spartans blew past the Tigers 12-0. The result was nothing new for the Spartans, who have now won 12 matches by ten runs or more so far this season.

Dominick Lewis was excellent, going 2-for-3 with three RBI and two runs. Those two hits gave him a new career-high. The team also got some help courtesy of Townsend Buring, who went 1-for-3 with one triple, one run, and one RBI.

The win made it two in a row for White Station and bumps their season record up to 19-10. The victories came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered a grand total of 4 runs in those games. As for Whitehaven, their loss was their third straight on the road, which dropped their record down to 6-7-1.

As of now, neither White Station nor the Tigers have any future games scheduled.
