Harmony lost to Bishop Moore back in April of 2023, but they didn't allow them the same satisfaction on Wednesday. The Longhorns put the hurt on the Hornets with a sharp 14-5 victory. McKenzie Whitehouse and Lindsay Green were a major factor no matter where they played. Throwing, Whitehouse tossed four innings while giving up just one earned (and three unearned) runs off five hits. Meanwhile, Green tossed three innings while giving up just one earned run off three hits. Whitehouse has been nothing but reliable on the mound: she hasn't given up more than two walks in eight consecutive appearances. At the plate, Whitehouse scored a run while going 1-for-4, while Green went a perfect 4-for-4 with one home run and two runs. Those four hits gave Green a new career-high.
In other batting news, the team relied heavily on Emerson Aslan, who went 3-for-4 with one home run, three runs, and two RBI. That's the most hits she has posted since back in February. Hailey Baker also deserves some recognition as she hit her first triple of the season.
