Flag Football Game Preview: Acalanes Dons vs. Montgomery Vikings + Official Tickets

The Acalanes Dons will face off against the Montgomery Vikings at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Acalanes will be strutting in after a victory while Montgomery will be coming in after a loss.

Acalanes will roll into the matchup after a wild two-game stretch: they only put up 13 points two weeks ago, then bounced right back against Campolindo last Monday. The Dons really took it to the Cougars for the full four quarters, racking up a 40-6 win. The Dons might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won eight games by 21 points or more this season.

On the defensive side of the ball, a lot of the credit has to go to Acalanes' defense and their three sacks. Julia Munter was particularly dangerous to the passing game, picking up two herself.

Meanwhile, Montgomery came up short against Petaluma on Thursday, falling 33-8.

Acalanes' victory was their ninth straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 14-2. The road wins came thanks in part to their defensive effort, having only surrendered 2.7 points on average over those games. As for Montgomery, their defeat dropped their record down to 8-11.
