Baseball Recap: General McLane Comes Up Short

General McLane lost to McDowell back in May of 2025 and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Monday. The Lancers fell 6-2 to the Trojans.

Gradey Sharp was cooking despite his team's loss, going 2-for-3 with three stolen bases. Ben Swanson also deserves some recognition as he snagged his first stolen base of the season.

General McLane's defeat dropped their record down to 5-3-2. As for McDowell, the win was the fourth in a row for them, bringing their record up to 5-4.

Coincidentally, General McLane and McDowell will both be playing Cathedral Prep the next time they take the field. The Lancers will host the Ramblers at 4:00 p.m. on Tuesday, while the Trojans will host them at 6:30 p.m. on Wednesday.
