Baseball Recap: Richmond-Burton Comes Up Short

Monday just wasn't the day for Richmond-Burton's offense. They took a 3-0 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Winnebago Indians on Monday. The Rockets' defeat continues a trend for the team, making it three in a row.

Richmond-Burton's loss dropped their record down to 8-18. As for Winnebago, the victory was the sixth in a row for them, bringing their record up to 14-20.

Richmond-Burton does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Winnebago, they will face off against Marengo at 4:00 p.m. on Wednesday. Marengo's pitching crew has only allowed 3.5 runs per game this season, so Winnebago's hitters will have their work cut out for them.
