Softball Recap: Stanley-Boyd Orioles vs. Regis Ramblers
Stanley-Boyd let Regis stack six runs on them in the seventh inning on Tuesday but luckily Stanley-Boyd prevailed anyway. The Orioles walked away with an 11-7 win over the Ramblers. The Orioles haven't had any issues with the Ramblers recently, as the game was their eighth consecutive victory against them.
Caitlen Ketterhagen made a splash while hitting and pitching. She looked comfortable on the mound, not allowing a single earned run and allowing only one hit while striking out ten over four innings pitched. Ketterhagen was also stellar in the batter's box, going 2-for-3 with three stolen bases and four runs. Those four runs gave her a new career-high.

In other batting news, Stanley-Boyd let Kendall Sikora and Bailey Sikora run wild. Kendall went 3-for-5 with four RBI, one triple, and one run, while Bailey went 2-for-4 with two stolen bases, three runs, and two RBI. Those three hits gave Kendall a new career-high. The team also got some help courtesy of Dannea Wundrow, who went 2-for-4 with two RBI and one run.
Stanley-Boyd was getting hits left and right and finished the game having posted a batting average of .375. They easily outclassed their opponents in that department as Regis only posted a batting average of .148.
Stanley-Boyd's record is now 11-4. As for Regis, their defeat was their fifth straight at home, which dropped their record down to 6-11.
Stanley-Boyd will have a chance to go back-to-back against the Ramblers: the pair will be back at it again later today.
