There's no place like home for the Shadow Hills Knights, who bounced back after a tough loss on the road two weeks ago. They were the clear victor by a 70-48 margin over Xavier Prep. For those keeping track at home, that's the biggest victory Shadow Hills has posted yet this season.

Shadow Hills can attribute much of their success to Sergio Felix, who scored 16 points. The team also got some help courtesy of Ivan Acosta, who scored 12 points.

That was a full 52.1% of Xavier Prep's points, marking the third time in a row he's earned more than a third of the team's points. Johnny Ferrel was another key contributor, scoring 12 points.

Shadow Hills' win bumped their record up to 7-12. As for Xavier Prep, they have not been sharp recently, as they've lost 11 of their last 13 contests, which put a noticeable dent in their 4-16 record this season.

Shadow Hills will look to defend their home court on Thursday against Palm Desert at 6:30 p.m. Palm Desert will be looking to extend their current seven-game winning streak. As for Xavier Prep, they will head out on the road to face off against Palm Springs at 6:30 p.m. on Friday. Palm Springs knows how to get points on the board -- the team has finished with flashy point totals in its past five games -- so hopefully Xavier Prep likes a good challenge.
