Football Recap: Douglas Takes a Loss + How To Watch

After flying high against New Hope last Friday, Douglas came back down to earth. The Eagles fell 21-14 to the Arab Knights on Friday. The Eagles gained 199 more yards on the day, but it was the Knights that made the best use of them.

Despite the loss, Douglas saw an underclassman step up: sophomore Keilan Green picked up 73 receiving yards and one TD, and also rushed for 48 yards.

Douglas has traveled a rocky road recently, having lost three of their last four contests. That's put a noticeable dent in their 3-3 record this season. As for Arab, they now have a winning record of 4-3.

Douglas didn't take long to hit the field again: they've already played their next game, a 35-21 victory against Sardis on the 10th. As for Arab, they will have some time to savor their win since their next game is a little ways off: they'll take on Scottsboro at 7:00 p.m. on the 17th.
