Softball Recap: Eldorado Comes Up Short

The matchup between Eldorado and Edwards County on Tuesday hardly resembled the 0-0 effort from their previous meeting. The Eagles lost 25-0 to the Lions. The defeat continues a trend for the Eagles in their meetings with the Lions: they've now lost nine in a row.

Eldorado's loss dropped their record down to 0-14. As for Edwards County, they are on a roll lately: they've won ten of their last 11 contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 16-5 record this season.

While Eldorado had to take the loss, they won't have to wait long to give it another shot: the pair's next game is a rematch scheduled at 4:30 p.m. on Thursday.
