Baseball Recap: Centennial Comes Up Short

Centennial managed to slip by Andover the last time these teams faced off, but didn't have those same answers this time around. The Cougars lost 8-0 to the Huskies on Tuesday. The Cougars were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as the Huskies apparently hadn't forgotten their loss the last time these teams played back in June of 2024.

This is the second loss in a row for Centennial and nudges their season record down to 3-8. As for Andover, the victory was the fifth in a row for them, bringing their record up to 11-2.

Looking ahead, Centennial will welcome Osseo at 4:30 p.m. on Wednesday. The Cougars are facing the Orioles at the right time seeing as the Orioles are stuck on an eight-game losing streak. As for Andover, they will face off against Eden Prairie at 7:15 p.m. on Wednesday. The Huskies will also cruise into their next contest with the timing on their side: the Eagles will have lost three straight heading into Wednesday's match.
