Wilson Prep came tearing into Friday's matchup with ten straight wins (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 28.2 points) and they left with even more momentum. They blew past the Weldon Chargers, posting a 66-28 win. The Tigers have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won 11 contests by 25 points or more this season.

Wilson Prep was led to victory by Paris Best and MyAngel Brimage. Best went 6 of 13 en route to 13 points in addition to eight assists and six steals, while Brimage went 7 for 8 on her way to 14 points along with six boards and four steals. Best is also on a roll when it comes to field goal percentage, as she's posted one of at least 45% in the last six games she's played. Kaiden Brown was another key player, going 5 of 6 to rack up 12 points.

Despite the loss, Weldon still got an impressive performance from Kamya Coles, who posted 16 points.

Wilson Prep pushed their record up to 17-1 with the victory, which was their 11th straight at home dating back to last season. The wins came thanks in part to their defensive effort, having only surrendered 29.8 points over those games. As for Weldon, their defeat dropped their record down to 7-6.
