Volleyball Recap: Utah Military Academy - Hill Field Comes Up Short

Utah Military Academy - Hill Field lost against Ogden back in April of 2024, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Thursday. The Utah Military Academy - Hill Field Thunderbirds came up short against the Ogden Tigers, falling 3-0. The Thunderbirds' defeat continues a trend for the team, making it three in a row.

Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-13, 25-11, 25-17.

Ogden found their leader in freshman Kos Crowther, who had five digs and three aces. The dominant performance gave Crowther a new career-high in aces.

Utah Military Academy - Hill Field's loss dropped their record down to 3-10. As for Ogden, the victory (which was their fifth in a row) raised their record to 7-4.

Looking ahead, it'll be a Battle of the Birds when Utah Military Academy - Hill Field Thunderbirds duke it out with Layton Christian Academy Eagles at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Ogden, they will challenge Morgan at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Ogden is facing Morgan at the right time seeing as Morgan is stuck on a three-game losing streak.
