Baseball Recap: John Glenn Takes a Loss

John Glenn was not able to break out of their rough patch on Saturday as the team picked up their third straight defeat. They lost 12-2 to the Heath Bulldogs. The result was an unpleasant reminder to the Little Muskies of the 24-3 loss they experienced in the pair's previous head-to-head fixture back in April of 2024.

John Glenn saw four different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Kayson Hoff, who went 1-for-2 with one double and one RBI.

John Glenn's defeat dropped their record down to 5-13. As for Heath, they are on a roll lately: they've won eight of their last nine matches. That's provided a nice bump to their 11-3 record this season.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. John Glenn will venture away from home to challenge New Lexington at 5:00 p.m. on Monday. The Panthers will roll in looking for their fifth straight victory, something the Little Muskies surely won't give up without a fight. As for Heath, they are taking a road trip to square off against Zanesville at 5:00 p.m. on Monday.
