Recap: Clarendon Hall Saints vs. Williamsburg Academy Stallions
The Clarendon Hall Saints's recent rough patch got a bit rougher on Friday after their third straight loss. They were the victim of a tough 67-43 loss at the hands of Williamsburg Academy. Clarendon Hall was given a dose of their own medicine in this game as Williamsburg Academy apparently hadn't forgotten their loss the last time these teams played back in November of 2017.
Corey Burts was his usual excellent self, scoring 25 points for Williamsburg Academy. The match was Burts' fourth in a row with at least ten points. The team also got some help courtesy of Wes Smith, who scored 11 points.
Clarendon Hall's loss dropped their record down to 1-3. As for Williamsburg Academy, the win for they keeps them at an undefeated 4-0.
Clarendon Hall will get a bit of extra time to process the loss as their next game is a ways off. They'll take on Jefferson Davis Academy at 7:15 p.m. on January 2, 2024. Williamsburg Academy won't have much time to rest: their next match is against Lee Academy at 6:30 p.m. on December 16th.
