Baseball Recap: Four Straight Road Wins for Pennington

Pennington got themselves on the board against Mercersburg Academy on Saturday, but Mercersburg Academy never followed suit. They blew past the Storm 17-0. Considering the Red Hawks have won three games by more than ten runs this season, Saturday's blowout was nothing new.

Pennington pushed their record up to 3-1 with the win, which was their fourth straight on the road dating back to last season. Those victories came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they've averaged 13.8 runs this season. As for Mercersburg Academy, they are on a four-game losing streak (dating back to last season) that has dropped them down to 0-3.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Pennington will face off against Chatham at 4:15 p.m. on Monday. As for Mercersburg Academy, they will get a bit of extra time to process the loss as their next game is a ways off. They'll take on Hedgesville at 4:00 p.m. on April 9.
