Softball Recap: Holy Redeemer Takes a Loss

Holy Redeemer managed to slip by Lake-Lehman the last time these teams faced off, but didn't have those same answers this time around. The Royals came up short against the Knights on Wednesday, falling 9-1. The Royals were not able to repeat the success they had when they faced the Knights earlier this season, when they won 3-2.

Holy Redeemer saw three different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Katie Genovese, who went 1-for-3 with one double and one RBI.

This is the second loss in a row for Holy Redeemer and nudges their season record down to 6-3. As for Lake-Lehman, the win was the fifth in a row for them, bringing their record up to 10-1.

Coming up, Holy Redeemer is taking a road trip to challenge Berwick at 4:15 p.m. on Friday. As for Lake-Lehman, they have already played their next matchup, a 21-0 victory against Greater Nanticoke Area on the 24th.
