Rose Harrelson made a splash while hitting and pitching. On the mound, she didn't allow a single earned run while striking out 13 over seven innings pitched. She has been nothing but reliable: she hasn't tossed less than seven strikeouts in five consecutive appearances. She was also big at the plate, scoring two runs and stealing a base while going 2-for-4. The dominant performance also gave her a new career-high in doubles (two).

In other batting news, Mary Snyder was incredible, scoring two runs and stealing three bases while going 2-for-3. Those three stolen bases gave her a new career-high. Another player making a difference was Abby Aardema, who scored two runs and stole two bases while getting on base in three of her four plate appearances.

Liberal Arts & Science Academy - Austin has been performing well recently as they've won seven of their last nine contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 10-3 record this season. Anderson's defeat dropped their record down to 5-9.
