Basketball Recap: Gorham Comes Up Short

Gorham was the 46-38 winner over Thornton Academy when they last played one another back in December of 2024, but their luck changed this time around. The Gorham Rams took a 45-40 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Thornton Academy Trojans.

Gorham's loss dropped their record down to 12-3. As for Thornton Academy, they are on a roll lately: they've won three of their last four games, which provided a nice bump to their 6-9 record this season.

Gorham will be playing in front of their home fans against Westbrook at 6:30 p.m. on Thursday. As for Thornton Academy, they will take on Noble at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Thornton Academy is facing Noble at the right time seeing as Noble is stuck on a four-game losing streak.
